Estate Office Property Consultants, one of London’s last remaining independent investment and development consultancies, has acquired the City’s prestigious, Grade I listed, Royal Exchange on behalf of Resolution Property.
The 68,000 sq ft prime offices are located in the heart of the City of London, directly opposite the Bank of England and Bank Underground Station.
It marks another trophy acquisition for the firm, which has an unrivalled track record in acting for UK and overseas investors seeking profitable assets in London and across the UK.
Barry Marshall, Head of Commercial at Estate Office, comments: “This is one of the UK’s most recognisable buildings and a prized asset in one of the City of London’s best locations. As an investment it offers excellent growth potential thanks to the underutilised space, low rental tone and ability to refresh the tenant mix.”
Barry adds: “The deal reflects our longstanding relationships with UK & overseas investors ranging from funds to private families, and we look forward to continuing to advise and act for those seeking profitable assets in the UK.”
Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright also acted for the purchaser. The vendor was advised by Cushman & Wakefield plc, Michael Elliott LLP and Clyde & Co LLP.
